Sancai's environmental art work "Sailing the Sky" is composed of nearly 130,000 ceramic units, embedded in the top space of the building, and is by far the largest ceramic ceiling art work in the world. The shape is made up of oval ceramic tubes that form tens of thousands of rhombuses, forming a circular dome, like sails in the clouds, sailing in the wind, with a great sense of three dimensionality and visual impact. The colors are in the artistic technique of the Sancai, which makes the viewer look up at the magnificent beauty of the flowing Grand Canal, with sunlight falling, sails racing and waves rippling. Visitors shuttle through the museum and feel the charm of the Grand Canal through time and space. The long wind will break the waves, hanging the clouds and sails to the sea!
